Full Membership
This level of membership is required to bowl regularly at the club, to play in leagues and to enter competitions. Successful applicants will be able to participate in all aspects of club activities and may introduce and entertain guests at the Club.
Download your New Membership Application form here, in either Word or PDF format.
Social Membership
This level of membership is ideal for the non-player who wishes to take part in the club's social activities or watch the bowling. The number of Social members is limited. They are not eligible to take office or vote at any meetings.
Membership of the club is open to everyone, at any time of the year, irrrespective of ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or beliefs; or of age, sex or disability except as a necessary consequence of the requirements of bowling as a particular sport. However, limitation of membership is allowable on a non-discriminatory basis.
There are two classifications of membership; full bowling members and social members. For more information please contact the club membership secretary: memsec@eastdorsetibc.org.uk
Coaching
Taster sessions take place from time to time throughout the year but in particular prior to the commencement of our winter league programme. These sessions are ideal for non-bowlers or outdoor bowlers who want to have a go at the sport of indoor bowling and to try out the club facilities.
Coaching sessions commence in the middle of October. They are a natural progression from the taster sessions and may be undertaken by members and non-members alike. Of course, non-members and new indoor bowlers will be encouraged to join the club and, when they feel ready, to practise their bowling skills in our Cygnets (novice) league and friendly matches.
