Other Information

Thinking about taking up bowls? Why not find out more at a free taster session.

Bowling suits all ages from 9 to 90+ - we currently have members aged just

11 up through to several well into their 90s - so why not come to one of our free taster sessions. Bring the whole family.

You will receive a warm welcome from our team and get a free, no obligation, try-out, and a cuppa, with one of our coaches. No previous experience necessary, and we can supply the equipment.

If you enjoy it, then sign up for our special, new-member, coaching - we have several fully qualified EBCS (English Bowls Coaches Scheme) LICENSED COACHES - still with no obligation to join. Then, if you do decide to join us, we do not throw you to the lions; we have a special Novices' League for up to two seasons.

Bowling is an excellent way to make new friends whilst keeping fit and having fun.

Ample car parking is available in the Leisure Centre car park (East) next to Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre (Season ticket available through Christchurch Council).
