The Denny Cup and the Yetton Trophy are some of the most prestigious team competitions for men and ladies respectively in English indoor bowls, organised annually by the English Indoor Bowls Association (EIBA). They are regarded as the pinnacle of club-level team competitions, offering bowlers from affiliated clubs the opportunity to compete for national glory. For football fans, think the FA Cup of bowls. East Dorset will have 4 rinks (2 x Yetton, 2 x Denny) at home vs Bridport, next Saturday, 18th October, starting at 10am.
This is a great opportunity for bowlers to see some top-class bowling here at the Club, as well as supporting EDIBC in their new club shirts!
We would love to see members, their partners, friends, neighbours and all, come along and support the match.
Pop in for view of the bowls from a grandstand position, have a drink, a bite of lunch, (you need to eat somewhere)!
