East Dorset – Bramley League Champions!
Here is some really great news! Following the Bramley League match this past weekend, the East Dorset men are the league winners and bring home the Bramley Bowl. The captains for the final match which East Dorset won 10/0, were: J. Quirepel, M. Hennessy, C. Weeks and J. O’Donnell.
The Bramley League is organised by the Hampshire Indoor Bowls Association and is for teams of four and two bowls. There were eight rounds played in total, both home and away resulting in East Dorset finishing the season with a lead of 1 point!
Board Member and Men’s Selector Dave Lee said: “To win the Bramley Bowl this year and be equal third in the Wessex League Coastal Section with Dolphin IBC is a remarkable achievement.
The Development Plan finalised in March 2025 regarding Bramley & Wessex Leagues for 2025/26 season and beyond is already bearing fruit and we should make a point of thanking all playing squad members for their participation as well as those who made themselves available as reserves for the different matches in support of the teams. Thanks to everyone for all of their hard work to make this a truly memorable year for EDIBC.”
